Our friends at JWT Riyadh approached us with a project to working on their new campaign and create three different images for STC Telecom’s new mobile recharge service – Recharge using your bank account. We conducted extensive research and explored scale, facial features and expressions of various faces before we zeroed in on an edgy style to define the characters faces and looks. A variety of textures, props and materials were combined to make each character’s costume, look and facial expression distinct and visually arresting. Since the final image would be used in print and outdoor, the details were key, and so the backgrounds are photo manipulated to integrate the characters seamlessly into their representative environments. The outcome is three distinct characters. A lot of fun. Oh, and a happy client.
